We’re never short of stories about celebrities doing normal things, because, those of us in the non-famous category seem to find them fascinating for reasons I can’t explain. No matter how much we progress as a species, I fear there will always be someone somewhere willing to rummage in a dumpster in order to hawk a celebrity’s shopping list.
However, none if this applies if we’re talking about the Queen, a woman who has been a bastion of decorum for almost ninety years. On the rare occasions she behaves like an average joe and the results are just gold.
Here she is taking a drive down to her local church, only to come across a family of strollers blocking the road. The worst.
The Queen ‘aint got no time for this…
She does what any self respecting motorist would do and goes off-road to get round those mofos.
Her face speaks a thousand words.
If It had been me behind the wheel I probably would have mouthed some profanities as I drove off, but HRH knows better than that. Scarlett Vincent, dawdler in question, gave this account:
We didn’t actually have time to get out of the way as we were in a world of our own so she had to swerve around us,” Vincent said. “Toby was pushing the trike and I was pushing Teddy’s pram when I realised what had happened. I turned to him and just said, ‘Oh my god, it’s the Queen.'”
I pointed at the car and she just smiled at us and waved.”
What a legend.
