Whilst us folks down here in the Cape froze our socks off this June it appears the rest of the world was having something of a more pleasant time. So pleasant, in fact, that last month was the hottest June ever recorded.
Hang on say the sceptics, just who verified these figures and can we trust them? We probably should, considering that NASA, the Japan Meteorological Agency, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) all agree this past month was a record-breaker.
Not that this is all that unusual because June was actually the THIRD month this year to break a monthly temperature record, something that should have us sweating quite profusely. Over to The Verge for more bad news:

That’s right, this past year is also the warmest ever recorded. All this science is just so damn pesky for those climate change denialists, don’t you hate it when fact goes and gets in the way of what you really want to believe?
