Religion is always a tricky subject to touch on but I think we can agree that Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are amongst the most popular religions of the world.
As history has unfolded these religions have spread from the root of their origins to every corner of the globe, a number of factors influencing the rapidity with which they did so. The folks at BusinessInsider have made a great video which illustrates exactly that, the brief description below taken from the same site:
