So you’re in the market for a rental and have done some snooping around your favourite spots in Cape Town, you’re not alone there. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you spend months visiting places you probably wouldn’t even send your mother-in-law for a weekend stay on our shores.
Let’s all take off our budget-considering caps for a second and imagine we can fork out R55 000 per month to live life in the lap of luxury. If you’ve grown up in Slaapstad you’ll probably have your own hidden gems but two areas that always get plenty of attention are Camps Bay and Llandudno, favourites with locals and tourists alike.
Now it comes time to make the call – the money is waiting to be spent and you’re set to pull the trigger. The good life awaits, but first let’s get better acquainted with our two options. Courtesy of Pam Golding Properties, first up is Camps Bay…
Just the six month rental but not too shabby I think we can agree. Off to Llandudno then…
That’s the basics down then, but we know the real clincher is going to be how these places make use of their location. Camps Bay, you’re up…
I believe that might be a piano in the third picture above, now you know you’re playing with the big dogs. Time to shine Llandudno…
I guess it depends on how much you value that sea view, with the Llandudno property giving almost uninterrupted views down to the beach. Then again, when you run out of milk you’ll need to pop down to Hout Bay to replenish supplies and if you fancy a toot, Camps Bay is always close to our familiar favourites.
Bottom line? We’re not saying no to either, now to put the budget-considering cap back on and get back to the real world.
