After a spate of PR nightmares including rat-shaped chicken pieces, KFC have come back fighting with their latest invention. By merging two beloved fast foods, the pizza and the fried chicken, they’ve come up with, you guessed it…. THE CHIZZA.

There’s still time for your arteries to prepare themselves as it’s only available in the Philippines at the moment, but if the reaction on Twitter is anything to go by, that won’t be for long – with one woman claiming:

kfc if you don’t bring the chizza to the states, i swear i will decrease my number of kfc visits by 1 per year.

Calm down love!

There’s too much yellow on that plate for my taste, but I can’t promise I wouldn’t be tempted on a serious hangover.

We’ll let you know if the Chizza ever makes it to SA, but in the meantime we’ll be just fine with a good old Rotherham.
