It seems American athlete Ben Payne didn’t get the memo about not celebrating a win until you’ve actually… won. This cringe-worthy video shows Payne fist pumping the air as he arrives at the Finish line of a 10k race, completely oblivious as British Olympian Scott Overall takes the opportunity to push past and hit the tape a mere 9/100ths of a second before him. Ouch.
Overall couldn’t resist a gentle dig when he later gave the hapless runner some advice via Twitter.
