We all know the saying ‘more money than sense’, and if sayings had poster boys Floyd Mayweather would be the ideal candidate.
After raking in ludicrous amounts of money last year, Floyd has decided to treat himself to a rather special automobile – so special that there are only three in the entire world. It won’t come cheap mind you, with the boxer set to fork out $4.8 million (R59 million) for the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita. The Daily Mail reports:
Mayweather’s car man Obi Okeke, at L.A.-based Fusion Luxury Motors, [said] that the undefeated champion is just 48 hours away from cinching the deal on the ultra-rare sports car.
The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita can go from zero to 60mph in just 2.9 seconds and has a staggering maximum speed of 250mph [402km/h].
Mr Okeke has already imported to car to the L.A. showroom, ready for 38-year-old Mayweather to take home after confirming the transaction.
The Koenigsegg will join his already impressive list of toys including Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis, Bugattis and a £30million Gulfstream V private jet.
Enjoy spending the money from your hug fest with Manny Pacquiao, just remember that’s three hours sleep we will never get back.
