Please tell me that you also have that one friend who thinks that, despite everyone’s protestations, Crocs are the coolest footwear going around.

Well bad news for us folk trying to convert those hard-minded individuals, Prince George is on board the Croc-Train and the footwear company is riding it all the way to the bank.

The wee lad was snapped wearing a pair of $54 navy blue Crocband clogs at a charity polo game last week, pictures that have caused a 1 500% increase in sales for the much ridiculed company. Amazon say the surge has come just in time with this from The Week:

Earlier this year, the company — which saw quarterly sales decline 16 percent during the first quarter — ramped up production and launched a marketing campaign in hopes of bringing attention back to their shoes.

Easy really, just get royalty on board and that problem is well and truly solved. Maybe this is something that Uzzi could look into, we all know they need the image revamp.

Sorry Chris, we’re still not letting you off the hook on this one, we will continue to mock you relentlessly for your choice of footwear.
