It’s all kicking off in France after a man has been decapitated and several others injured during an attack at a factory in France.
It is being reported that two men drove into the factory near Lyon, with one of the suspects being a 30-year-old who is known to the police.
The other suspect, found dead, had Arabic inscriptions on his body with an Islamist flag found nearby. French president Francois Hollande has called it a terrorist attack in his press conference from Brussels, He is quoted here on BBC:
“We have no doubt that the attack was to explode the building. The attack bears the hallmarks of a terrorist attack,” he said.
Referring to terror attacks in Paris in January, he said: “We all remember what happened before in our country.”
The French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has now ordered security in the surrounding area to be beefed up in the event that other attacks are planned.
