Gather around readers, your catchphrase for the day is ‘teamwork doesn’t seem work’. Take it for a spin in the office, see if you can make it catch on.
What does that have to do with an armed robbery in the United Kingdom? Give the video above a go and you’ll see that this is one smooth unit at work. The Telegraph has more details:
At approximately 12.20pm on Wednesday 10 June, four men dressed in dark clothing and balaclavas approached David M Robinson Ltd jewellers on Railway Street, Altrincham.
The footage, shared by Greater Manchester Police, shows the men using a battering ram to break through the security door. They then push the shop’s security guard into the building and then order him to lie on the ground, to which he obliges.
So was it worth getting out of bed for? Indeed, the team grabbed £186 820 (R3,5 million) worth of watches before speeding off in a Land Rover they also nicked. They’re still coming up quite a bit short of the London jewellery heist from earlier this year but you can’t put a price on freedom.
These thieves remain at large so residents in the area should treat everyone wearing an expensive watch with extreme caution.
