One of the most fun, touristy things to do as a kid is to go to Madame Tussauds. I can clearly remember dragging my poor parents there on a London holiday (I am sure they secretly enjoyed it). What would you do, though, if one of the wax figures came to life?
That’s exactly what Arnold Schwarzeneggar did at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood whilst posing as the mannequin of The Terminator.
Dressed faithfully as the half-man, half-machine robot, Arnold’s look included the trademark aviator sunglasses, the grey T-shirt, black leather jacket and matching trousers. Even his face was adorned with stage make-up to give the impression of injuries.
The fun was all in the name of his charity, After-School All-Stars, and caused a few amazing reactions…
I think I would have a very similar reaction…
I like that celebs (and Governors) can have a bit of fun. Arnold explains why he enjoys it so much:
Last year I learned that the more fun I have promoting after-school all-stars, the more fun you have watching and the more you get engaged. So it’s my Trojan horse – I do ridiculous things and have a great time, but I get you to pay attention to something really close to my heart.
Nice chap, that.
