Father’s Day is just round the corner, so it comes as no surprise that shop shelves are filled to the brim with cards and mugs wishing your old man a good day. But, what if dad deserves a bit more?
Say, for example, his face on a pizza??
Good news if you live in the UK – take the kids down to one of 200 Morrisons Market Street counters and they will be able to do just that – have someone paint dad’s face onto a pizza for them.
The shopping chain teamed up with artist Nathan Wyburn, who managed to put David Beckham, Simon Cowell, JLS star Marvin Humes, McFly’s Tom Fletcher and Take That’s Gary Barlow’s faces onto pizza. Nathan was first noticed on Britain’s Got Talent a few years ago.
Speaking on behalf of the supermarket, a spokeswoman has said:
This is the very first time our customers have ever been able to create edible artwork at our Market Street counters. Everyone on the counters at those participating stores will be listening closely to customers, to get each pizza looking just right. We are pleading with fathers nationwide to allow their family a little artistic licence.
Surely this is the greatest gift ever? Wonder if we will be able to do it here…
