You’re supposed to get what you give in life. Ask some of the big names in business and most tend to preach that there’s a direct link between the level of risk you’re taking and the returns you receive. They’re also saying the lower the risk, the less you will receive:
“Playing safe is very risky.” – Seth Godin, author and entrepreneur
“In a world that is changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.” – Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook
But does this traditional wisdom still apply in business as we know it today? And is it just about money? What about your reputation, your relationships and your emotional wellbeing? There are many questions to be answered here, and that’s why we would like to invite you to join us at our next Connection Session, where we’ll be discussing the risks entrepreneurs face in business.
Join marketing and media radio show host Warren Harding to find some answers as he discusses the upsides and downsides of Risky Business with serial entrepreneur and investor, Dan Guasco, and Design Indaba founder Ravi Naidoo. Brought to you by BrightRock and hosted in partnership with 2oceansvibe, the conversation will also be live streamed online (2oceansviberadio.com) and posted on BrightRock’s Change Exchange.
