I’m only going to say this once – this post will contain SPOILERS. Things will be said below that may ruin your viewing of the final episode of the Game of Thrones fifth season.
If you are here I will assume one of three things – you have already watched the episode and want to see the internet melt down, you don’t watch the show (guilty) or you’re just that crummy kind of person who takes delight in ruining it for everyone else.
Final warning now, see that bold bit up top? I’m not messing around, here it comes…
Now as mentioned I am not a regular viewer myself so I will use Mashable to describe what went down and why it matters:
Stannis Baratheon met the wrath of Brienne of Tarth and Cersei Lannister continued her transformation into Claire Underwood with a new ‘do, but it was the apparent death of Jon Snow in the show’s final minutes that left viewers shocked, hurt and heartbroken. (Yes, book readers, we know you saw this coming.)
This caused people to take to the interweb and basically lose their shit. Even I know that Jon Snow is one of the main okes so it must have come as a shock to many.
All hope may not be lost, however, as this tweet suggests.
I could pretend to care, and we could play a guessing game as to whether or not Jon Snow is dead, but I would only be doing you real fans a disservice.
As long as they don’t kill the dragon lady Daenerys Whatsherface I’ll be happy to let the writers do as they please.
