Apple, when they need to advertise, do it well. And this time around they have not let us down.
If you don’t know, Apple has just announced the new Apple Music – “a streaming service, radio station and social network in one” – which launches on June 30th.
Apple Music will allow users to stream songs from the millions of tracks on iTunes. The firm also unveiled Beats One, a 24-hour streaming radio station curated by well-known DJs in New York City, Los Angeles and London. Connect, another feature, is a built-in social network intended to let musicians communicate with fans by previewing upcoming work, for example.
The ads are pretty awesome (yes, plural, there are three). The first one is a great intro to the new concept…
The two that follow, History of Sound and Worldwide follow in the footsteps of the first, creating a “perfect harmony”.
The first one features a voiceover from Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, whilst the others’ “focus is entirely on the history of recorded music” and how music brings us all together, respectively.
They’re good. Once again, Apple has hit the nail on the head.
