We know that the Springbok Rugby World Cup 2015 jersey upset many fans across the country, most of whom moaned about the Bok emblem being shunted to the right sleeve to make way for the IRB World Cup logo.
We now also know that Down Under, fans of the Wallabies (who suffer enough as is) are less than impressed with the jersey their boys will wear to the tournament, taking to social media to hurl insults at whoever was responsible for designing it. Here’s the design:
That is a whole lot of yellow on display, something that clearly upset a few fans. Here’s Mashable:
“Thanks Asics, you’ve come up with the ugliest ‘jersey’ in Australian sport history. Bring back the GOLD you latte sipping, pony-tailed tossers,” rugby fan Denis Coffey wrote on Facebook.
Then there is the inevitable Twitter attack:
Woah, no need to bring Andre Agassi into this mate.
Perhaps we should be thankful that it’s just the placement of the Bok emblem that we have to moan about. At least this horrid yellow creation shouldn’t last past the semi-finals.
