There isn’t a man amongst us who doesn’t wince at the prospect of testicle trauma, but when you taunt animals for a living you’ll generally find sympathy hard to come by.

Marco Galan was taking part in the Miura Fair, an event that sees 31 days of consecutive bullfighting at the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, a bullring in Madrid. Here’s the Youtube description breaking down exactly what happened, although the video has subsequently been removed:

[He] had just driven two colourful barbed sticks known as banderillas into the neck of the beast when it lunged at him.

The bull ducked his head and Galan was speared through the ballsack by the pointed horn.

Galan fell and the right horn tore through the back of his waistcoat and for a second he was carried along by the animal.

Galan managed to walk to hospital but later had the gored eier removed.

I guess some might say that’s tit for tat; teste for tat if you’re a fan of lame and obscure puns.
