Being a South African, I have obviously dreamed up the scenario where I am in my car and someone comes up to my window to relieve me of the iPhone I am instagramming on. Weirdly, it’s never a man dressed in a SAPS uniform with a docket book, but rather some guy wielding a gun in my face who isn’t going to be persuaded by me batting my lashes.
Fact of the matter is you’re probably not going to have much time to think of an escape route, much like these guys in Joburg the other day.
The swiftness of the guys in the car in front is nothing short of miraculous, but determined and carefree are probably better words. It apparently happened on the M1 off-ramp near Makro in Fordsburg, JHB.
Never a dull moment in that city.
Although at least the sun is shining.
