In amongst all the glitz and glamour (and millions and millions of dollars) of Hollywood there is the weird underbelly of celebrity stalkers. Not the paparazzi, who make their living off of their parasitic and predatory means, but rather the crazed ‘I’m going to break into your house and sleep in your bed and wear your clothes’ kind of stalker.
It is no surprise that Mila Kunis, celebrity crush of millions the world over, has a crazy stalker. The good news is that Stuart Lynn Dunn was ordered to stay away from the Black Swan star for 10 years in January 2013, since ending up in a mental health facility in California. The bad news here from Sky News:
Staff at the psychiatric facility said he made an “unauthorised departure” at around 8pm on Saturday night.
Lieutenant Martin Rodriguez told the Daily News the manhunt for Dunn is “in progress and ongoing”.
An ‘unauthorised departure’ is a rather euphemistic way of saying that they really dropped the ball on this one. So why should Kunis be worried and what history do the two have?
Dunn was repeatedly arrested in his pursuit of 31-year-old Kunis, who is reported to have been told about the escape.
In February 2012 he was arrested for breaking into her home, which was empty at the time.
The authorities arrested him again that May after he waited for her outside her gym for three days.
Let’s hope this creep is found pretty soon and returns to the mental health care regime he seems in dire need of.
In the mean time Mila, if you’re looking for a place to lay low my door is always open.
