You might think ‘jy’s cooler as ekke’, but when it comes to South Africa’s top music dogs they don’t come much cooler than Jack Parow.

His hat peak is long, his ‘tache furry and his title as King of Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs – also known as the other side of the boerewors curtain – undeniable. I’ll readily admit I don’t get out there much, but if I had Jack leading the way I would be a willing convert.

This Saturday will see a bus party for the ages as Captain Jack and his band of merry revellers travel through the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. The UberBus will stop to pick up the lucky requesters (together with THREE of their friends) along the way and the jol will go on.

So how do you get involved? Here’s how:

1. Enter the promo code JackParow to unlock the UberBus view on the Uber app
2. Starting at 6:00 PM, Saturday 30 May, you will be able to request a spot for yourself and THREE friends on the UberBus FOR FREE!
3. Simply toggle over to the UberBUS option and request a ride as you normally would
4. If you are one of the lucky few to successfully request, the UberBUS will be sent to your location to collect you and three friends
5. The UberBUS will leave the Parow bus station at 6:15pm, arriving in Stellenbosch at 8:30 PM

Once the jol has finished up at popular Stellies hangout Aandklas the winners will also receive a FREE ride home with Uber.
