You might think ‘jy’s cooler as ekke’, but when it comes to South Africa’s top music dogs they don’t come much cooler than Jack Parow.
His hat peak is long, his ‘tache furry and his title as King of Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs – also known as the other side of the boerewors curtain – undeniable. I’ll readily admit I don’t get out there much, but if I had Jack leading the way I would be a willing convert.
Well good news for all Uber users (haven’t signed up yet? Sheesh, click HERE and get R150 off your first ride): introducing the UberBus. This Saturday will see a bus party for the ages as Captain Jack and his band of merry revellers travel through the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. The UberBus will stop to pick up the lucky requesters (together with THREE of their friends) along the way and the jol will go on.
So how do you get involved? Here’s how:
Get it? Got it? Good. Your route will look something like this…
Once the jol has finished up at popular Stellies hangout Aandklas the winners will also receive a FREE ride home with Uber.
There is no limit to how many times you can enter so don’t be shy, although I would recommend you don’t ‘smoke Yves Saint Laurent sigarette’ or show off your ‘tattoo van ‘n slang op jou tette’ around your host, you know how he feels about that.
