Shoes. They’re a necessity. We all have dozens. They’re important. A pair of shoes can change an outfit. For example, I have this little LBD (that’s “Little Black Dress” for you men trying to decipher all of womankind for your loved one). If I wear it with black heels and drape jewels all over myself, I can wear it to most fancy-pants functions. Pair it with nude heels and a little jewellery, however, and it’s a great outfit I threw on for dinner. Shoes create versatility. I’m adamant about that.
We can’t stop at one pair of black heels, either. I need my black patent leather heels and my black regular leather heels (yes, there’s a difference). Then I have another pair of black shoes with a smaller heel, which are especially helpful when I know I’ll be standing for a long time. I then repeat this paragraph, but with different colours.
Men, do you now understand why we have so many shoes? We have so many so that we have options, so that it is easier and thus faster for us to get dressed and ready, for you.
It’s all for you.
Now how about something for us? Like, maybe, a special house for our shoes? A beautiful resting place where no dust will ever settle. A space where your Pumas and your Havaianas and our stilettos will never touch…
Look at it.
Just LOOK.
It’s like the grown-up version of a house for your Barbie. A shoe house, if you will.
