Claremont’s Cavendish Square Mall was the scene of a suicide yesterday evening as a 21-year-old man jumped to his death.
According to Western Cape police spokesperson Andre Traut the man jumped at around 5:30PM. News24 quotes Traut here:
“The circumstances are being investigated and a death inquest has been registered.”
Traut said the man’s identity was known to police but would not be released until his family had been informed.
So sad. So tragic.
