Sometimes we get sent things from readers that, whilst being a little outdated, are still worthy of a mention. This be one such post so before you tell us you knew about this years ago (hipster) take a deep breath… and woosah.
We found this map (which you can click to enlarge) on visual.ly and it came with this description:
This graphic of an imaginary Cape Town underground map is from the agency Coley Porter Bell. I’ve seen this in their office before and it’s quite cool to have it large in front of you.
Coley Porter Bell are a London-based brand design agency who obviously have some extra time on their hands and a Saffer expat or two around their offices.
A cursory glance at the design shows that one could have an absolute field day on Long Street, then whip along to Camps Bay to spend the evening watching the sun go down in style.
The thing I am most interested in is who would have the privilege of saying ‘please mind the gap between the train and the platform’. My vote goes to Jack Parow, I am sure he could really make it pop.
