‘More Bill Murray’ we hear you screaming from behind your computer screen. Ask and you shall receive, dear readers, welcome to the Bill Murray bonanza.
The actor / loveable rogue / professional drinker has been a regular on the Late Show with David Letterman over the years, appearing no less than 44 times. He was, in fact, the very first guest Letterman entertained. This from the Daily Beast:
“There’s only a small handful of people that can have a conversation with Dave on a certain level, who are really his equal,” said Rob Burnett, executive producer ofLate Show. “To see Dave and Bill Murray, two comedy icons who share a mutual respect and genuinely like each other… hang back and have a conversation is in some ways better than anything we can prepare.”
Murray joked during his first appearance that he intended on making Letterman’s life a ‘living hell’ from that point forward. I’m afraid you have failed on that front Bill, now find another talk show host to pal up with so we can enjoy more of your rabble-rousing.
