It isn’t very often that we see a movie rake in a 9/10 from our friends over at SPL!NG, so when their review came through we sat up and took notice.
Now they are not alone in their praise as more and more critics heap credit on Mad Max: Fury Road, a movie that seems to be quite the visual spectacle. The guys at Vulture seem to be sporting some serious movie wood so I’ll hand over to them:
The majority of sequels have no reason for being apart from sequel money, but watching this fourth Mad Max, I could sense after roughly .0001 seconds that the 70-year-old Aussie director [George Miller] has been revving his engines for a long, long time…
[It] is certainly a blast and a half: You don’t just watch it, you rock out to it.
Hang on, it’s https://ed-trio.com/buy-viagra-online about to get very macho up in here:
He has made a movie with more amazing motorcycles than a biker’s rally and more high-decibel mash-ups than a monster truck event: FUCKIN’ A, AWWRIGHT! He has stuffed it with every shape and size of gun imaginable: BOO-YAH!
Capitals and everything, they must mean business. I’ll leave the last word for SPL!NG, justifying their near-perfect rating as follows:
Mad Max: Fury Road is high octane adrenalin from start-to-finish… giving The Fast and the Furious a run for its money, blowing Waterworld out of the water, delivering cyberpunk wasteland tales in crates of bullets and composing a visually-rich cinematic epic by bludgeoning its audience in the face with a wild, violent, furious, majestic and insanely cool escape.
