If you’re anything like me you tend to have your head up in the clouds the second most airlines start to play those awfully boring safety videos. Exits here and here, a toilet this side, we all know the drill.
The team over at Air New Zealand, however, have become somewhat famous for their creative take on the traditional video. They’ve gone all ‘Lord of the Rings‘ on us, used some rather attractive swimwear models and now channelled one of their favourite pastimes to keep passengers on their toes. Here’s Stuff:
Air New Zealand has teamed up with Sports Illustrated again for its latest safety video.
The new video, called Surfing Safari, was released on Thursday and features nine pro surfers from all over the world, including past and present champions.
One of those surfers is model and American big-wave surfer Anastasia Ashley, who does happen to be very easy on the eyes.
I’m of the ‘get me to where I’m going and leave me in peace’ school of thought when it comes to flying, but that being said we should at least doff our hats to the team for making our pre-flight rundown that much more entertaining.
