We told you a few weeks ago that Prince Harry was in Australia, flying apache helicopters and planning a trip to New Zealand.
Well, the prince finally went on his trip, and he seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. On visiting Linton Military Camp, the largest army base in New Zealand, Harry learned a traditional Māori haka, which everyone then performed.
Despite not having long to learn the intense routine, the Prince pulled off the moves with ease while maintaining a look of deep concentration throughout.
I want to say the guy in the front left was a lot more into it than Harry (you’ll see), granted the prince only had 20 minutes to learn it.
Harry arrived in a helicopter and then got to “test drive an All Terrain Vehicle around the base as well as a Light Armoured Vehicle”. He also met up with one Corporal Jason Storley, who participated in Harry’s Invictus Games .
He remembered me and wanted to know how I was doing,” [Storley] said. “He wanted to know how we were and it’s amazing he remembered some of us.
It’s nice to see that Harry seems to have cleaned up his act a bit.
The prince also received his first ‘hongi’ (a traditional Māori greeting) from Ohinemataroa Iti-Kereopa, who is a member of the New Zealand Defence Force Maori Cultural Group.
The image instantly sparked rumours of Harry having a new lady friend, but they’re not true, so don’t worry yet, ladies.
