Now that the ‘will she won’t she end up in jail’ saga is finally over can Amanda Knox return to a normal life?
No is the simple answer to that, after footage of her singing at a karaoke bar blazed across the internet. The woman acquitted of the brutal 2007 murder of Meredith Kercher may have chosen a rather questionable choice of song, considering her storied history, but after all she’s been through she deserves a break. Here’s the brief Gawker write-up:
Being tried for murder apparently didn’t dull Amanda Knox’s sense of humor (sic). Last night in New York, the one-time accused roommate stabber belted out The Cranberries’ “Zombie,” a song about tragic death, with all the fervor (sic)of someone no longer facing life in a foreign prison.
Next week she will belt out the entire first album from ‘The Killers’ and really break the internet.
