Kim’s book Selfish launched on Tuesday and she was at the book signing at Barnes & Noble in New York that evening when she had to deal with animal-rights activists berating her for wearing fur.
Can’t a girl just sign her selfie book??
Dozens of angry protestors who had just before been patiently waiting in line to ‘have their book signed’ rushed around her holding posters and pictures, calling her a “terrible person”.
I just want to say, you are the most disgusting human being on this planet. Shame on you for supporting the fur industry!
As she took another person’s book to sign, she was asked to “make it out to all the animals that have been killed for you to wear a fur coat”.
Kim is known for occasionally sporting some furry fashion and even got flour-bombed for it back in 2012.
She managed to take it all in her stride though and can be spotted with a little smirk on her face at times.
The somewhat unwelcome guests were escorted outside where they continued to make noise.
Personally I prefer a bit of faux fur, but in that same breath do not take the fillet steak away from me.
