That might be a bit broad, so let’s narrow it down to this particular store in Braamfontein, Jo’burg.

A person who clearly lives within the view of the back of a KFC outlet or warehouse, took some rather nasty pictures of said KFC and sent them on to a friend.

In the two images, men wearing red t-shirts and navy blue pants can be seen using a hose to stream large amounts of water onto the chicken which is laid bare on the floor. The uncooked poultry pieces are contained in buckets in one image with blood and water streaming down the ground.

The images have been shared over 2 000 times and KFC South Africa has issued a statement via Twitter:

We’re aware of the incident in Braamfontein & take the preparation of our food seriously. We’re currently investigating this further.
