OK. Surely it is time that something actually happens to Bill Cosby? Or that he decides to say something about the more than forty women who have claimed he drugged and raped them at some point. Surely??
Another TWO ladies have come forward in the past couple of days speaking at a press conference with attorney Gloria Allred in New York. Lili Bernard, who actually appeared on The Cosby Show, and Sammie Mays have shared their stories.
Ms Bernard said in her statement that Cosby won her complete trust and adoration and then he drugged and raped her. She went on to repeat what Cosby said to her after the incident, saying she “interpreted it as a death threat”:
As far as I’m concerned, Bernard, you’re dead. Do you hear me? You’re dead, Bernard. You don’t exist, I never wanna see your face again. Now get the hell out of here!
Sammie Mays was a writer when her encounter with Cosby happened in the 1980’s. She explained how she wanted to interview him whilst in New Orleans. She invited him to her hotel room to chat, and then he allegedly mixed one of the notorious drinks…
After she took two large swigs of the drink, she reportedly claims, “The next thing I remember when I awoke from my state of unconsciousness, I seemed to have been drooling and was sloppily slouched in the chair with barely the edge of my bottom in it.”
She says that when she awoke she found her bra and shirt undone and her belt sloppily buckled.
Mays and Bernard are being represented by Allred, who is also dealing with those other three women from a week ago.
I do believe that Cosby is just hiding his head in the sand like an ostrich, hoping that because he doesn’t see it, it’s not actually happening.
