Well you can bet there will be a few people keeping their eyes open for this guy around the PE and Uitenhage areas.
Police have released the identikit of one of the possible suspects in the murder case of the 28-year-old Uitenhage teacher Jayde Panayiotou. The information regarding the suspect’s appearance was taken from ATM security cameras last week.
Whilst no arrests have been made in the case thus far it is hoped the identikit may assist the public in aiding the investigation. Panayiotou was found Wednesday morning near the KwaNobuhle township in Uitenhage, and the popular teacher’s murder has garnered much media and police attention. News24 reports:
A dedicated task team – consisting of detectives, crime intelligence officers and forensic experts – was established to follow up on all leads and information.
Last week, detectives also released photos of engagement and wedding rings that were allegedly taken from her.
Here’s hoping those responsible for this heinous crime are brought to justice sooner rather than later. The long arm of the law awaits.
