Robert Downey Junior is always wonderful to watch, whether on the big screen, your screen at home, on movie posters… he’s also come a long way from his darker past that was filled with drugs and booze and seems to have become a rather nice chap.
In a recent interview with British Channel 4 journo Krishnan Guru-Murthy, who probably wants to hide in a cave for the rest of his life, RDJ managed to keep his cool when the interview started to head off the beaten track. Rather than sticking to promotional questions about his new film, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Guru-Murthy decided to ask about RDJ’s past.
Nope. He should not have done that.
Watch the video… It starts getting a bit awkward around the 4 min mark, but 5 min 30 sec sees it get really juicy.
Your feet are starting to jump a little bit. You’d better get to your next question.
After one final question that was clearly the cherry on top for RDJ, he apologises, stands, and walks out of the interview, saying “It’s just getting a little Diane Sawyer in here”.
Pop on the coffee percolator and do enjoy this. We did.
