Yes, we have gone on a bit about Coachella the last week or so. The celebs, the drugs, the drama and the awkward kisses – Coachella had it all.
You see guys, this isn’t just a little gathering. The Californian funfest saw some huge numbers in attendance, and this aerial crane shot of Kaskade playing the main stage just about sums it up.
So what kind of numbers are we talking? Here’s Mashable:
In [Kaskade’s] first Coachella performance in 2006, the festival tallied roughly 187,000 total attendees in three days. Flash-forward to this year and that figure, which isn’t publicly available yet, will likely soar beyond 2014’s total of 579,000 attendees for six days.
The musician was blown away by the turnout after seeing the aerial shot above:
When I saw the aerial shots, my eyeballs popped out and my jaw dropped…It was insane to see it stretched so far back in photos because when I’m on stage it’s a sea of people but you really can’t see the depth.
Just to ensure we all enjoy a tinge of jealousy this fine Tuesday here is the official Coachella thank you video.
