There’s an old saying about the pot saying something to the kettle but we’re going to steer clear of that one for now.
Julius Malema took his time in front of the microphone last week to unleash a stinging attack on president Jacob Zuma, calling him out for his son Edward’s comments on foreigners. This from News24:
“Your own son continues to say these people must be killed. You stand up here and say nothing,” Malema said.
Malema believes the state is responsible for the xenophobic violence meted out to foreigners.
Things really start getting feisty from around the two minute mark as Julius focuses his aim squarely at Zuma. The president, of course, goes to great lengths to avoid any eye contact and looks rather unaffected by it all. Then again, if he had a rand for every time Julius has said something nasty about him he could quite easily pay back the money.
