Now depending on who you ask this is either a cute video of Obama reading to some children (Democrat) or an indication of how unfit he is to rule a country (Republican).

The above ‘bee frenzy’ took place yesterday during the annual Easter Egg Roll event at the White House. Obama was reading Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things Are” when a bee buzzed into proceedings and caused a stir. This from Gawker:

“Oh no, it’s a bee!” said President Obama after the insect’s arrival…adding “That’s okay, guys, bees are good,” as attending children shrieked in terror.

“They sting and they’re scary!” countered one guest, causing the president to (not very convincingly) promise, “They won’t sting you. They’ll be okay.”

He eventually managed to calm the children down and finish the story.

The White House, by the way, has its own beehive and the honey produced is used to cook with and produce the Honey Porter and Honey Ale beers. That’s right, Obama brews his own beers…take a bow.
