No one wants to be involved in a car accident that ends up with a visit to the local hospital, least of all this man in China who has some serious explaining to do.
Now we won’t get into the mechanics of exactly how a man known as Yuan came to be dating 17 women at the same time – the logistics alone are mind-boggling. SCMP has this to say:

One of the girlfriends, who called herself Xiao Li, said: “I’ve been with him for a year and a half…I was really worried when I heard that he was in hospital. But when I started seeing more and more beautiful girls show up, I couldn’t cry any more.”
Xiao then took action and set up an online chat group with the other 16 women, which is no doubt where it began to get messy. Some of the women were giving Yuan large sums of money, one had a child by him and another had begun to plan their wedding.
Many of the comments posted on the original article expressed admiration for the Romeo-like accomplishments of Yuan, whilst others berated the women for not discovering his deceit earlier. Nice to see misogyny is still alive and well then…
