So despite the fact that One Direction engaged in a spot of load-shedding just before their South African tour, fans still turned out in their droves to scream cheer on their heroes. Traffic around Cape Town became snail-paced as teenage girls (and their mothers) descended on Cape Town stadium and stopped for the camera to express their delight.
