Obama flew back to Washington DC yesterday after a delightful golfing trip in Palm City, Florida. Upon exiting Air Force One, though, he narrowly missed face planting a flight of stairs. In what can only be described as one of the quickest recoveries in recent weeks, Obama managed to then scuttle down the steps, salute the waiting guards, pat someone on the back and walk off as though nothing had happened. All whilst on camera.
Let’s pretend that had been me. A) I would have been so happy to be stepping off a private jet that both of my arms would have been up in the air in a sort of stance of elation. Which means that B) I would have had no hands to catch my fall. Leading to C) the most memorable tumble down a flight of stairs ever in the whole history of the universe. Hopefully this would lead to D) my 15 minutes of fame as the video goes viral on YouTube.
