Isn’t it nice to know those men and women in uniform are out there patrolling the streets and protecting us from mischief makers? For all the good they do I often think they deserve a few cold ones at the end of the day, we can all give them that.

Except this police officer in Pinetown, Durban who thought it would be OK to get behind the wheel completely hammered and drive like a madman. This from News24:

The officer has been identified as a constable posted at the Pinetown police station…

Police spokesperson Colonel Jay Naicker confirmed that the video had been brought to the attention of top police management and the matter would be investigated.

Here’s hoping they make this drunkard pay the price for his actions, the thought of our police force driving around pissed with their guns on their laps won’t help anyone sleep easily.
