Now it certainly helps when your family is something of an empire but let’s not be too harsh on young Kendall Jenner, announced yesterday as the new face of Calvin Klein Jeans.
Jenner has been a regular on the big catwalks of late, and has become a part of what has been dubbed ‘The New Brat Pack’ alongside the likes of Justin Bieber, Gigi Hadid, Dylan Penn, Hopper Penn and Ansel Elgort. Huffington Post has the lowdown on the announcement:
The brand teased its new star on Twitter, using the same photo Jenner had posted to her Instagram months ago, before officially making the announcement. According to a release from Calvin Klein, Jenner fronts “a limited edition, logo-driven offering inspired by athletic and urban streetwear.”
“I’ve grown up wearing the brand and seeing the iconic advertising in magazines and on billboards featuring some of the world’s top supermodels. To now be a part of that legacy is truly an honor,” Jenner said in a release.
To be fair she is rather easy on the eye and at least it isn’t another case of THIS. I’m sure we can all agree we got off lightly.
