Game Ranger Tantrum – Careers24 Proves That You Can Plan A Viral Video

Well played Careers24, you got us fair and square.
Monday saw us receive a video from a YouTuber called Nic During of a game ranger having a proper meltdown following his repeated requests for a German tourist to be careful. We knew little to nothing about the video other than he swore a lot in Afrikaans and the tourist seemed in dire need of a klap.
We got word today, however, that the video was in fact made to go viral and a quick check at the YouTube video shows well over 150 000 views. It would seem then that one can plan and make a viral video with some creative thinking and for that we applaud whoever came up with this concept.
It does make us a little sad though, we were eagerly awaiting news of what exactly happened post meltdown. Bets around the office ranged from a one-way ticket back to Germany for the tourist in question to a public apology from the game ranger. I guess now we will never know.
