If it’s not enough that Daily Dish brings you the exact ingredients and recipes for 4 killer meals for you to easily cook every week, now they’re including everybody’s favourite – Fairview cheeses, meat and wine – into the mix!
Cape Town based food service provider, Daily Dish, has announced a partnership with leading Paarl wine producer Fairview. Fairview, which is also known for its wide variety of artisanal cheeses, olive oil, bakery, and soon to be released free range meat products, will collaborate with Daily Dish to expand the company’s ever growing product line of ready-to-prepare home meal kits.
Before we get into that – just a quick recap of the types of meals we’ve been making in The Residence in Camps Bay for the last year or more. And you can choose which type of meals you want each week ie. classic, low-carb or veggie.
I could go on – or you can look for yourself here and see what you’re missing out on.
Daily Dish is South Africa’s first internet start-up to offer a weekly meal kit delivery service to people who are too busy to cook, or those who simply relish the convenience of having recipes with exact ingredients that they can quickly and easily prepare delivered to their home or office. With its ultra fresh ingredients, tasty recipes, and outstanding service, Daily Dish has grown so popular that the company was recently prompted to expand its delivery base to include Johannesburg and Pretoria, as well as suburbs and towns outside the Cape Metropole.
Diane de Villiers, co-founder of Daily Dish, says that Fairview’s focus on ethical production fits in perfectly with the Daily Dish philosophy. “Our aim is to provide our customers with ingredients that are fresh, seasonal, local, and sustainably produced. We buy our food directly from the farms to ensure that we deliver only the freshest produce, and to get to know the story behind the food we source. Fairview is known for its holistic approach to food production, and will add superb value to our Daily Dish product line.”
Fairview’s extensive range of products will soon be incorporated into Daily Dish meal kits and recipes, and subscribers can look forward to exciting themed boxes like braai, beer, wine, and of course cheese. Some of Fairview’s experimental wines which are not widely available to the general public will also occasionally be included in meal boxes, adding to the exclusivity of the Daily Dish offering. According to De Villiers these high quality artisanal products will elevate the fuss-free and enjoyable Daily Dish cooking experience to delicious new heights.
Well I’m not going to rush and signup, because I already have – AGES ago. So have most of my mates.
