Yesterday we brought you THIS news of another Jeremy Clarkson oopsy, this time a ‘fracas’ with a producer which has led to his suspension from the BBC. Now the question on everyone’s mind (other than just how big a doos is Clarkson) is what caused the Top Gear presenter to lash out at 36-year-old Oisin Tymon, the unfortunate recipient of Clarkson’s rage.
Was it money? Maybe someone sent a dirty picture they shouldn’t have. No, in what resembles the most diva-like behaviour, Clarkson got riled up over food. The Daily Mail reports:
The Top Gear presenter is being investigated after an apparent ‘dust-up’ with one of his producers, Oisin Tymon, over being offered only a ‘cold platter’ for dinner at a luxury hotel.
According to a witness, Clarkson demanded steak after a long day of filming and became furious when he was told that the hotel’s chef had gone home…
The dinner service was cancelled by kitchen staff because the crew were two hours late. Clarkson is then understood to have become embroiled in a row about the dinner with Mr Tymon, whom he blamed for the mix-up.
Here’s something worth noting for anyone feeling sorry for Jeremy. It is also reported that he kept the production team waiting for three hours whilst he sat in a pub.
Of course this hasn’t stopped over 500 000 fans from signing a petition demanding his return from suspension, because if there’s one thing the Brits love more than tea it’s signing online petitions. And, it would appear, some fat wanker who talks about cars.
