Those should get you up to speed with why he has an army of haters, although I am behind him in his ongoing feud with Piers ‘Supertwat’ Morgan.

Now Clarkson has been slapped with another suspension following a reported bust-up with a producer, and unconfirmed rumours have cited the reason as an argument over a lack of catering facilities. This statement from the BBC:

Following a fracas with a BBC producer, Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation.

No one else has been suspended.

Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday.

Here’s hoping the fracas involved Clarkson landing a mistimed right and the producer unleashing a flurry of blows to the head. Meanwhile an online petition calling for Clarkson to be reinstated has been signed by more than a 100 000 people, calling into question the intelligence of both internet users and car lovers.

His daughter took to Twitter to rally behind her father, sending out this heartfelt message:

I would be critical of her but she has a father worth $50 million and every man has his price.
