SA Tourists Freak As Lion Opens Car Door [Video]

Sometimes viral videos blow up in a matter of minutes and others, such as this gem, remain dormant for a while before we catch wind of them.

This video, uploaded last March by Joshua Sutherland, proves that hijackers aren’t the only reason you should lock your doors in Africa. These tourists to a South African safari park got the skrik of a lifetime when a cheeky lioness managed to open an unlocked door of the car they were travelling in.

As one witty YouTube commenter put it (they do exist, everyone just ragged on them for being ‘Merican) this must be the equivalent of ‘Meals on Wheels’ to the lioness. Still, they were probably safer than the average person waiting at a red light in Jozi.
