Regular readers will recall that some of us around the office were less than impressed with Standard Bank’s automated call system. They call it that, we call it some robotic twat invading our personal lives without our permission.
Well now we have proof that the people of South Africa aren’t all that enamoured with the bank either. In fact the latest South African Customer Satisfaction Index (SAcsi) has popped Standard Bank down in, wait for it…last place. This from Business Tech:
The banks measured were FNB, Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank and Capitec, selected on the basis of market share.
Using a sample size of over 16,000 customers, Capitec and FNB came out tops, with scores of 82.2 and 79.3 respectively, both significantly higher than the average SAcsi score of 76.3 out of 100.
The banks were then ranked across their different retail channels.
Well that doesn’t paint the prettiest of pictures now does it? We see there is no ranking for automated cold call abuse frequency, which is something that Standard Bank should be pretty relieved about.
Our thanks to Shaun for sending us this info.
