Cape Town has had a fairly eventful weekend, what with fires burning and buildings imploding. It could almost be the set for an ‘end of the world’ movie.
The Tulip Hotel in town went down early on Sunday morning with many the onlooker watching the whole spectacle through their tiny phone screens, all so those of us who were lounging in bed could watch it from the safety of our down duvet cocoons.
Ross Demolition and Jet Demolition did a good job (just like they did that time they took down the Athlone Towers).
