I really wish I didn’t have to write any more of these Bill Cosby rape stories but they just keep on coming. Yes, as the headline suggests, it’s another woman telling her tale of rape at the hands of the former comedian.
This time it is Heidi Thomas, then aspiring actress, who cites an incident in 1984 in Reno, Nevada. Bill was performing a comedy routine there, and Thomas’ agent arranged for her to meet with the funny man who was looking for ‘young talent to mentor’. CNN reports:
She says Cosby wanted her to relax, and he gave her a glass of Chablis…
Thomas says that when she woke up, Cosby was next to her in bed, naked and “forcing himself in my mouth.” She says she remembers feeling like she wanted to throw up.
Soon after, Thomas says, Cosby was getting on top of her again and referring to himself in the third person.
“I’m your friend … your friend is gonna (ejaculate) again.”
Anyone who has kept up to speed with the allegations as they have mounted will know this is pretty consistent with other accounts. Cosby’s attorney has come out swinging though and labelled the allegations as ‘ridiculous’:
…it defies common sense that “so many people would have said nothing, done nothing, and made no reports to law enforcement or asserted civil claims if they thought they had been assaulted over a span of so many years.”
Perhaps I will leave the last word on the matter to former friend and widow of fellow comedy legend Richard Pryor, Jennifer Lee. You can read her full attack HERE but if I were to sum up her sentiment with great brevity it would read as follows…”He’s a piece of shit”.
