We know you guys like a good jol now and again. You don’t? Nah mate, you’re doing it wrong.
So when we heard all the buzz around the ‘Financial New Year’s Eve’ party taking place at the Cape Town Club this Saturday (28 February) we thought you needed to know.
In the same week that South Africa’s first black Minister of Finance delivers his inaugural national budget speech, it’s definitely fitting that we go back to black to see in the Financial New Year. The smell of rich mahogany, a lovely glass of fine scotch, it’s time to take your party habits to the next level.
How else other than with a celebration of surplus at Cape Town’s premiere gentleperson’s business club, of course, now back at its purpose-built Sir Herbert Baker home on Queen Victoria Street. The dress code is parliamentary…with a touch of financial, would you believe it?
The evening is set to be a sensory experience of Cape Town life as it once was – a string quartet, Manouche Jazz, sultry seductresses and special DJ’s.
On top of that, Silwood and Butler’s will be partnering with the Cape Town Club to bring you gorgeous tapas-style delights served with real class and panache. They will also be teaming up with other corporate partners to put together a monthly Saturday evening ‘smartly dressed up’ proper party event.
That’s Silwood, the famed cooking school and Butlers, your go-to pizza guys when Eskom sheds us of our load.
So where can you get yourself a ticket? General public tickets are R350 HERE or use your noggin and get the special Rotherham rate HERE. That’s right, we’ve only gone and hooked you up a little discount because we care.
You can find out more about the party HERE.
Don’t miss out on this jol guys, we urge you to get out of the house and treat yourself to something that promises to be pretty special. Or, of course, you could always stay in and be a miserable old sod.
